Here is a great shot, taken a few months ago, showing the details necessary for the construction of archways in a Drake Homes Inc. built home or townhome:
Wine cellar in NEW!! MILANO plan – 107 Bella Vista in Tuscany Woods!
This morning I followed a link to a favorite web site. The title is/was: 8 Web Apps to make Online Life Easier. It’s on Vandelay Design’s site and if you’re interested click on the link back where I typed the “8” VBG You just may find an app you can use.
Which leads to what followed in my train of thought: What 8 things in our home would make our lives easier or more enjoyable? No fair asking for chests of gold galore, but practical items or changes that are honestly affordable or at least attainable with time (as in “I need $10K to redo my front and back yard.”) Hum, is that making our life easier? Maybe not!
Okay, here’s the deal: You list 8 “things” that would make life easier inside and/or outside your home. Share with your family of course. Then pin the list in a place where you/they can see it every day. Positive thoughts! Visualize having them, doing them, being Happy with them. Given time you just may reach all 8!
Here’s my list, just because you read this far!
- Two new toilets (ours are over 40 years old – time to replace and enjoy saving water if nothing else)
- New insulation in the attic (easier to cool and heat the house)
- New access to the attic (we have one of those tiny square port holes in the garage)
- Gate on the south side of the back yard
- Garbage Disposal (I miss having one)
- Better light over the dining table area
- New lights in the bathrooms
- Solar screens
We done a lot with this old house but this list is one I’m going to work on the next few months!
And if you need any good ideas, be sure and visit Drake Homes Inc online!!

Did you ever wonder where the weather forecasters come up with a percent chance for rain, and really…what does that mean?
According to The National Weather Service if the forecast is for a 20% chance of rain ergo…>
The last one hundred times that these conditions existed, it rained twenty times …
According to The National Weather Service, Probability of Precipitation, or PoP, is defined as,”PoP=C x A where C= the confidence that precipitation will occur somewhere in the forecast area and where A= the percent of the area that will receive measurable precipitation, if it occurs at all. It is the likelihood of occurrence (expressed as a percent) of a precipitation event at any given point in the forecast area. Since the equation used to arrive at PoP contains a value for “Percent of Areal Coverage”, the result of the equation produces a number that also expresses the percent of areal coverage.
Our thanks to Wiki Answers for explaining this!
There’s a 100% chance you’ll love our homes so come visit online if it’s raining where you are!
